Account and connection
Firebase Authentication processes your email and the identity provided by Google or Apple for sign-in. LioMap uses an account identifier and display name to connect your people. Accounts remain in this product’s dedicated project.
Location and control
Location is shared only after explicit consent, with the recipients and duration you choose. The app can receive background location during an active session. Stop, expiry and ghost mode end new collection. Offline revocation is confirmed with the server after reconnection.
Battery and gestures
Battery percentage is optional and shared only with consent. Hearts and drawings require recipient opt-in; the recipient chooses whether to display them. Gestures expire after 24 hours. Remote notifications stay generic and contain no coordinates.
Retention and phone surfaces
Locations older than two minutes are not shown as current. Private map-background cache lasts up to 30 minutes. Expired server data is cleaned periodically. Widget updates depend on the system. Exported wallpapers and saved screenshots cannot be remotely erased.
Providers and advertising
Hostinger hosts the API. Google Firebase provides account, data and messaging services; Apple provides Apple sign-in and iPhone notifications. OpenStreetMap map services receive requests for the viewed area and the IP address. Opening Google Maps to plan a meeting sends the destination to Google Maps. AdMob is the sole ad provider; its SDKs may process identifiers, device details and advertising interactions depending on your UMP choices. Coordinates, invitations and drawings are not added to ad requests.
Your choices and account
Settings offers separate sharing, battery, gesture and notification controls. Advertising choices appear when UMP requires them. Delete my account starts deletion after reauthentication. You may also contact support to request access, correction or deletion of your data.
